Job Description and Summary:

This position is responsible to plan and purchase material at optimum cost, quality & ensuring smooth supply to operations.

Responsibilities

  • To coordinate with plant PPC for getting the requirments of bought out items on a daily basis and planning the requirement          
  • To compile & collect data regarding requirements of bought out items  
  • Calculate item level requirement by taking into consideration level of stock in hand + on water( basket fill)   
  • Populate item level data in JDE software
  • Coordinate with vendors and get required items            
  • New vendor development base.
  • Give feedback to vendors from time to time.      
  • To release purchase order 
  • Check registration of new items in JDE according to planning & approval        
  • Get involved in negotiatiating on price for the required quality
  • Ensure updation of item level details in JDE                                          

Requirements

  • Candidate should be Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 2 to 4 years of experience in purchase of manufacturing company.
  • Exposure to ERP systems.
  • Exposure to EOU systems and procedures.
  • Ability to grasp things fast and follow-up skills.

Position: Production Manager

Location: Jaipur, India

Job Description and Summary:

This position is mainly responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controlling, and improving the activities of the Non-Ferrous machine shop.

 Responsibilities:

  • Resource planning (Man, Machine, Material) and allocation of resources to optimize the output.
  • Responsible for Machine shop production planning and achieving as per pland vs actual performance.
  • Achieve monthly budgeted targets related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, 5S, TPM activities.
  • Take actions related to customer complaints and rejections.
  • Coordinate with machine shop and paint shop for production related activities.
  • Responsible for reducing down times related to machining process.
  • Take actions to ensure the process and system adherence.
  • Improve machine shop output per machine.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing engineering for providing of new products.
  • Responsible for packing cell output and taking actions to improve the output at packing cell.
  • Keep up with recent developments in machining field and implement best possible practices in plant.
  • Driving process improvements in plant.
  • Coaching and counseling of the large size team to achieve the planned key performance indicators.
  • Take initiative to improve and sustain 5S of machine shop.
  • Improve set up time for SMED implementation. 

Requirements:

  • BE/B Tech in Mechanical / Industrial engineering with experience of 10-15 years in machining with reputed company.
  • Exposures to precision component machining and development of new products are required.
  • In-depth knowledge of VMC, CNC, and SPM machining process is must.
  • Candidate should be conversant with - 7 QC tools, Six Sigma, TPM, 5S, Lean, Kaizen, SMED concepts. 
  • Conversant with ISO, OHSAS standards.
  • Should be able to improve productivity by combining, eliminating operations

Responsibilities:
